Full product description

The Makita DKP181 is an 82mm cordless planer powered by 18V LXT Li-Ion battery with a brushless motor, electronic brake and soft start. The design of the unit includes a base with 3 chamfering grooves as well as on-tool storage for hex wrench.

A spring-loaed stand elevates the base to protect the blades and workpiece whilst there is an easy blade setting system for fast blade installation. The DKP181Z also features left and right chipping ejection.

The depth of cut can be easily adjusted by simply turning the knob on the front of the tool. Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation.
