Tough, up to the task, not too heavy, not super light. Easy to get started out of the box. Excellent battery life. Great reach. Effective for amateurs like me. Very happy with it.

Just what I needed
I needed to cut the top of my hedge which had got too high. A ladder was too wobbly. This is the perfect solution with it’s extra long reach.

Very good purchase
I have brought this hedge trimmer not long ago it’s good and battery is long lasting does the job what it meant for only thing it struggles with slightly thick branches but overall it’s very good

Not a good Buy
The fatmax hedge trimmer fell well short of its described parameters.
!. Barely reaches 2.5m in use not the over 3m advertised.
2. Difficult to wield no support strap or ergonomic grip.
3. Unscrews when cutting from left to right.
4. Only suitable for cutting wisps and not the thickness advertised when using at height.
The photo shows a 2.5m hedge with Measuring tape extended to 3m. I couldn't get this to cut the flat top.
I not only do not recommend this item but would say actively avoid it!
