The HYM80LI460SP is the ideal battery powered lawn mower for medium to large sized lawns bringing clean, green, cable free mowing experience. No cables, no petrol and no pollution, the HYM80LI460SP lawn mower is powered by the market leading Samsung 40v Lithium-ion 2.5Ah batteries (2 included), no more messy fuel or dangerous mains cables.
The HYM80LI460P mower is powered by a powerful and durable 1200w Hyundai brushless motor for long service life. Brushless motors are maintenance free and are designed to offer many years of trouble-free use providing more power, longer run times, higher speeds, greater efficiency and less noise. This high torque brushless motor offers petrol power levels with 90% efficiency and a high life durability.
With a cutting width of 452mm, this mower is perfectly suited for medium to large sized lawns. It also features a spacious quick release 65L grass catcher with a hard lid, meaning you spend less time emptying the cuttings and more time mowing. Attaching and removing the grass collection bag couldn't be simpler, and the convenient grass level indicator on the top of the grass catcher will always inform you when the grass catcher is ready to be emptied.
With no engine to service, you also don't need to spend time checking oil, air filters or spark plugs, making it extremely easy to maintain. This mower with a mulching plug (your dropped cuttings become compost, creating a healthier looking, greener lawn) and side and rear discharge chute.

This easy starting method removes the strain associated with recoil pull-start lawnmowers. The handles are adjustable for height and also fold down over the main power unit, which makes this compact lawn mower easy to carry and store in a garden shed, garage and transport in the boot of your car.

OK - but supplied with faulty battery
Mower is a great item. However it took a long time to get them to send a replacement for a faulty battery.

Just what my garden needs!
I bought this mower to cut all the grassy parts of my garden that can't be reached by my ride-on petrol mower. So the only feature that makes it slightly less useful than the self-propelled petrol mower it replaced is the battery life. If I was relying on this alone for a large garden I'd need an extra set of batteries and maybe the fast charger. But the fact it's so much easier to manoeuvre, clean up and everything else makes up for that. The fit of the collector box lid is much tighter and needs more force than I expected, but that was sorted out with excellent customer service from the supplier.

Does well what it says on the label.
The mower was very easy to assemble, and the batteries quick to charge to full power. The mower does a good job on the lawn, with a lot less noise (and potential mess) than my old petrol version. The batteries can be inserted and removed easily, but for the life of me I don't know why the cover is hinged in such a way as to make access more difficult and almost having to be done blind. As a further, minor gripe, it's a shame that I can't charge both batteries together rather than one after the other - it would surely not cost a vast amount more to provide a double charger. That said, the batteries charged quickly. Overall, I'm very pleased with the mower.

The Jury is still out
I actually bought the HYM80LI460SP
It is a very well built machine and I also like how quiet it is. I like the large grass collector and the safety key feature gives me confidence when I'm cleaning the blade. The self propelled feature also helps on my large uneven garden.
I get around 30 mins mowing time on the 75mm cutting height - it will be interesting to see how much time I get on the lower settings.
