Just the job
I bought it to do a small amount of planing to get my lounge door to fit - excess paint meant it did not fit. This particular wood block plane was just the job and worked well. It did get bunged up with shavings and so had to be cleaned

I brought this a little while ago its not exactly what I was looking for it will only take off a small amount a time and frequently sticks.

Good for an odd job
I bought this to take the edge off a door that was sticking. A plane would be better, but this worked for me. Not heavy duty but good for the odd job.

WENT STRAIGHT IN THE DUSTBIN!
Totally useless. I bought it because it seems you can't get a Surform any more. Wanted to take off old paint, thinking it would be easier than sandpaper, but this device was incapable of removing anything. The scraping surface is very cheap and flimsy. Waste of money.
